If you could come out all over again, today, would you do anything differently? AC/DC—an old Filipino slang term for “bisexual”—is a retrospective play, following mother and child through 10 years of growth and love in this silly, queer world.

Genesis of the Show:

The seeds of this show were sown 10 years ago, when I came out to my family, to little fanfare and much chaos. After watering those seeds (read: therapy), the fruit they bore was simple and warm: we did the best we could, and we've grown so much since then. I had been wanting to involve my family in more of my work, and so this year felt like the perfect time to start--with my number one fan, no less!
