Genesis of the Show:
Sitting on my bestfriend's couch, bored out of my mind, I had just recently established my own theatre company with absolutely no idea as to what my first production was going to be. Being a fan of all things 2000's and 2010's, and a born-and-raised Zillenial, I thought to myself, "A play reminiscing about all the cool stuff from my childhood would be pretty fun". When I began researching into the topic and asking friends of the same age about their favorite toys, music, and other memories from the era, I realized that this was my opportunity to throw my theatre company into the Ottawa theatre scene through a fun and wholesome production. Right there, on my bestfriend's couch (which is blue, and comfy, and quite honestly my favorite place to be), I wrote up the submission form for Fresh Meat and titled it "S.C.H.O.O.L". The rest is history!
